In Q3 2023, the top finance applications on the Android platform in Germany showcased a range of performance metrics in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Below are the insights for each of these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

PayPal - Pay, Send, Save, published by PayPal Mobile, experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting from around 46K in late June and dipping to approximately 37K by the end of September. Weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at about 4.5M in late July and ending the quarter at a similar high of 4.4M.

S-pushTAN - sichere Freigaben, by Star Finanz GmbH, saw a relatively stable download rate, with weekly downloads hovering around the 32K mark throughout the quarter. Active users showed some variation, increasing from approximately 1.5M in early July to a peak of 1.78M in late August, before settling at around 1.67M at the end of September.
