Top 5 Finance Apps on Android in Chile Q3 2023

In the third quarter of 2023, the top five finance applications on the Android platform in Chile exhibited a variety of trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Tapp de Caja los Andes saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads. Starting the quarter with around 31K downloads, it peaked at approximately 72K downloads in the week of July 24. The app experienced another significant increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 46K downloads in the last week of September. Weekly active users also showed a positive trend, growing from about 174K at the end of June to over 260K by the end of September.

Santander Chile maintained a relatively steady download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers hovering between 20K and 36K. The app's weekly active users increased from approximately 704K at the beginning of the quarter to around 800K by the end of September, indicating consistent user engagement.

BancoEstado experienced consistent weekly downloads, with figures ranging from around 25K to 40K throughout the quarter. The app’s active users showed a notable increase, starting at approximately 4.29M in late June and reaching about 4.48M by the end of September.

CencoPay, tu billetera digital demonstrated a significant spike in downloads in early August, peaking at around 50K. Weekly active users for the app showed a steady increase from approximately 17.8K at the beginning of July to about 56.3K by the end of September.

Mercado Pago: cuenta digital experienced a notable peak in downloads in the first week of August, reaching approximately 50.6K. The app’s active user base also grew steadily, starting at around 770K at the end of June and ending the quarter with approximately 823K active users.
