In the second quarter of 2023, the top utilities applications in the United Kingdom showed varied performance trends across downloads, active users, and revenue. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive look into the dynamics of these popular apps.

Google maintained a stable presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 62K and 81K. The app saw a notable peak of 81K downloads in the week of June 19. Active users remained consistently high, starting at 15.5M in late March and reaching approximately 16.3M by the end of June.

GOV.UK ID Check experienced significant growth in weekly downloads, starting at 74.7K in late March and peaking at 136K in the last week of June. Active users also followed an upward trajectory, growing from 280K to nearly 469K over the same period.

Google Chrome saw a steady stream of weekly downloads, fluctuating between 39K and 51K. Despite the variations in downloads, active user numbers remained relatively stable, hovering around 27.3M to 27.4M throughout the quarter.

My O2 - UK Offers, Data, Bills showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at 27.4K in late March and reaching 85.7K by the end of June. Active users also increased from 201K to 317K during this period.
