In the second quarter of 2023, the top five utilities apps in Belgium, as tracked by Sensor Tower, exhibited varied performance metrics in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the trends for each app.

Google experienced fluctuating download numbers, starting at around 13K in late March and peaking at 17.4K in early May. Weekly downloads then saw a decline, ending the quarter at approximately 9.5K. Active users showed a more stable pattern, ranging from 2.7M to 2.9M, with a notable increase to 2.9M in the final week of June.

Google Chrome had a consistent performance with weekly downloads fluctuating between 5.4K and 6.4K. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 4M mark throughout the quarter, with a slight increase to 4.1M in the final week.

itsme showed steady download numbers, maintaining a range from 11K to 13.7K. Active users also displayed a consistent trend, starting at 449K and ending at 490K by the end of June.

Proximus+ saw its downloads vary from 7K in early April to 13.3K in mid-June. Active users ranged between 244K and 261K, showing a slight increase towards the end of the quarter.
