In the second quarter of 2023, the top five shopping applications in Turkey demonstrated varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Trendyol - Online Alışveriş saw its weekly downloads start at 254K and gradually decrease to 173K by the end of June. Despite this, the app maintained a high level of weekly active users, peaking at around 24.6M in late April and ending the quarter with approximately 22.2M active users.
sahibinden #AlSatKiralaKesfet experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 169K and closing the quarter with 181K downloads. The app showed a positive trend in active users, growing from 4.1M at the beginning of the quarter to nearly 4.9M by the end of June.
LCW – Online Shopping had a mixed performance with weekly downloads peaking at 247K in mid-April and then dropping to 79K by the end of June. Active users also saw a decline, starting at 1.1M and decreasing to approximately 929K by the end of the quarter.
Hepsiburada: Online Shopping had a relatively stable download count, beginning at 189K and ending at 110K. The app's active users showed a slight decline from 10.0M to about 9.0M over the quarter.
Lastly, Turkcell demonstrated consistent performance in downloads, starting at 159K and ending at 183K. The app's active user base increased from 14.4M to 15.4M by the end of June.
