In the second quarter of 2023, the top five shopping applications in Spain showed varied performance in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a closer look at the trends for Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire, SHEIN - Shopping Online, Miravia: App de compras online, Decathlon, and Amazon.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, particularly in April and May, peaking at approximately 929K downloads in the week of May 22. However, downloads declined in June, ending the quarter at around 80.5K. Active users followed a similar trend, increasing to about 1.1M in early June before declining to 937K by the end of the quarter.

SHEIN - Shopping Online maintained a steady growth in weekly downloads, starting at around 114K in late March and peaking at 190K in mid-June. Weekly active users also showed a consistent trend, starting at 2.5M and reaching approximately 3.5M in early June, before a slight decline to 3.3M by the end of the quarter.

Miravia: App de compras online experienced a more stable download trend, with a notable increase in the final week of June, reaching around 111K. Active users grew steadily throughout the quarter, starting at 458K and ending at 610K.

Decathlon showed a significant surge in weekly downloads in early May, peaking at 116K. This was followed by a slight decline, but the app ended the quarter with around 83K downloads. Active users increased consistently, starting from 39K in late March and reaching 213K by the end of June.

Amazon maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, averaging around 50K weekly downloads. Active users remained consistently high, starting at 3.3M in late March and ending at approximately 3.4M by the end of June.
