In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 news applications in South America showcased varied performance metrics across downloads, revenue, and active user trends, according to Sensor Tower data.

X experienced significant fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 748K in mid-April. Revenue saw a notable increase, reaching around $35.7K in the same period. Active users remained relatively stable, staying around the 34.9M mark throughout the quarter.

Reddit displayed a steady download rate, with weekly figures hovering between 71K and 82K. Revenue peaked in mid-April at approximately $19.2K. Active users remained consistent, averaging around 2M throughout the quarter.

Google News maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 15K to 18K. Active users showed some variability, peaking at approximately 6.6M in early April, but then gradually declining to about 5.4M by the end of June.

PelisPlus Max saw a gradual increase in downloads, reaching a peak of 6.6K in mid-June. Active users also displayed a positive trend, growing from approximately 15.4K at the start of the quarter to around 36.3K by the end.
