In the second quarter of 2023, the top five news apps in Lebanon displayed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users on a unified platform. Here’s a detailed look at the trends:

X from X Corp. showed a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $1.3K and ending at $842. Downloads peaked at 6.3K in the first week of May, but saw a decline towards the end of June, reaching around 3.9K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 660K mark throughout the quarter.

Lebanon Fuel Price - MOEW, released by Water of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, had no revenue reported during the quarter. Downloads spiked at 3.2K in mid-April but then significantly decreased, ending the quarter with just 11 downloads in the last week of June.

mtv Al Lubnaniya saw a steady decline in downloads, starting at 2.8K in early April and dropping to 995 by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 11.5K to 7.3K over the quarter.

LBCI Lebanon experienced a steady decline in downloads, starting at 1.3K in early April and ending at 151 in late June. Active users also decreased from 2.9K to 1.4K over the quarter.
