Top 5 Navigation Apps Performance in Lebanon Q2 2023

In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 navigation applications in Lebanon showed varied performance trends, according to Sensor Tower data. Below is a detailed look at each app's metrics.

Google Maps experienced a steady rise in weekly downloads, starting at around 1.7K at the end of March and peaking at approximately 5.5K by the end of June. Active users also saw a gradual increase, beginning at 229.7K and reaching 242.4K by the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a more modest performance in terms of downloads, beginning the quarter with 223 and ending with 323. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained relatively stable, starting at 20.7K and ending at 22.6K.

Qibla Finder Compass 100% showed some interesting trends. Weekly downloads saw a minor decline from 222 at the end of March to 195 by the end of June. However, the app's revenue peaked significantly in mid-June at $77 and remained steady around $55-$56 in the following weeks. Active users hovered around 500-570 throughout the quarter.

iSalam: Qibla Compass had fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 143 and dropping to 64 in early May before climbing back to 125 by the end of June. Revenue saw a notable spike to $31 in the final week of June. Active users remained fairly consistent, ranging from 868 to 925.

Lastly, the Bolt Driver App had stable download numbers, beginning at 305 and ending at 239. Active users saw a slight decline from 1.5K to 1.3K over the quarter.
