Top 5 Insurance Apps in Guatemala: Q2 2023 Performance

In the second quarter of 2023, the top five insurance apps in Guatemala showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Seguro Escolar experienced a fluctuating download trend throughout the quarter. Downloads peaked at 992 in the week of April 10 and saw a notable dip to 222 by the last week of June. Despite these fluctuations, weekly revenue remained at $0 throughout the quarter.

Ficohsa had a steady increase in downloads, starting at 216 in the week of March 27 and reaching 293 by the end of June. This app also reported no revenue during the quarter.

Universales saw a significant spike in downloads, peaking at 748 in the week of April 17. However, downloads declined to 61 by the end of June. Similar to the other apps, it reported no revenue for this period.

RPN maintained a relatively stable download trend, with minor fluctuations. Downloads ranged from 84 to 174 throughout Q2 2023, with no revenue reported.

Finally, Seguros G&T had a modest download rate, starting at 75 in the last week of March and ending at 67 in the final week of June. Like its counterparts, it did not generate any revenue during the quarter.
