Top 5 Insurance Apps Performance in the UK for Q2 2023

The second quarter of 2023 saw varied performance among the top 5 insurance apps in the United Kingdom. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user trends for these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Hastings Direct Insurance experienced a fairly consistent download rate throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads peaked at approximately 26.5K in the week of May 29, while active users showed a slight increase, reaching around 65.9K in the same week. However, the app saw a gradual decline in active users towards the end of the quarter, finishing with about 60.8K.

Cuvva saw a steady increase in both downloads and active users. Downloads rose to about 14.2K by the end of June, while active users increased consistently, peaking at around 27.5K in the final week of the quarter.

Admiral Insurance maintained a stable download rate, with a notable peak reaching approximately 11.3K in the last week of June. Active users oscillated slightly throughout the quarter, ending at around 80K.

MyAviva had a varied download performance, peaking at about 11.6K in early June. Active users showed a consistent upward trend, with the highest count around 28.2K in the week of June 5.

Help@hand also demonstrated significant fluctuations in downloads, peaking at around 6.7K in mid-May. Unfortunately, active user data was not available to provide further insights.
