The second quarter of 2023 saw notable performance among the top 5 shopping apps on iOS in Italy. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at their weekly downloads, active users, and revenue trends.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from 9.2K at the end of March and peaking at approximately 222K in mid-May. Active users also surged, starting from around 12K in late March and reaching an impressive 476K by the end of June.

SHEIN - Shopping Online maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 27K and 74K. Active users were consistently high, beginning at 1.49M in late March and peaking at around 2.05M in mid-May.

Amazon experienced stable weekly downloads, ranging from 18K to 23K throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively constant, starting at approximately 1.12M and ending the quarter at around 1.10M.

Alibaba.com saw moderate weekly downloads, with figures ranging from 9K to 19K. Active users showed a slight upward trend, starting at about 114K in late March and peaking at 120K in mid-June.
