In Q2 2023, the top shopping apps on iOS in Europe demonstrated interesting trends in both downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a remarkable surge in weekly downloads, starting at 44.6K in late March and peaking at 1.25M by mid-May. Active users also increased significantly, growing from 136K at the end of March to over 3.27M by the end of June.

SHEIN - Shopping Online maintained a strong presence with consistent weekly downloads, starting at 371.5K in late March and reaching around 446K by the end of June. Active users showed a steady rise, beginning at 8.53M and reaching approximately 10.62M by the end of the quarter.

Tesco Groceries for iPhone experienced moderate fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 212K in late March and ending at around 145K by late June. Active users saw a slight increase, from 833K at the beginning to about 879K by the end of June.

Lidl Plus had stable weekly downloads, ranging from 138K to 193K throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively consistent, fluctuating slightly around 3.25M.

AliExpress Shopping App maintained steady weekly downloads, starting at 149.6K in late March and ending slightly lower at 132K by the end of June. Active users showed a slight decline, starting at 4.77M and decreasing to approximately 4.70M by late June.
