Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps in Middle East Q2 2023

The second quarter of 2023 saw interesting performance trends among the top five iOS navigation apps in the Middle East. Data from Sensor Tower reveals key insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for Google Maps, Waze Navigation & Live Traffic, Qibla Finder Compass 100%, Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS, and Moovit: All Transit Options.

Google Maps experienced an upward trend in weekly downloads, starting with around 66K in late March and peaking at approximately 101K by the end of June. Active users also saw a positive trend, growing from about 7.1M to 7.5M over the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a mixed pattern in downloads, starting at 21.7K in late March, dipping in mid-quarter, and rebounding to 21.5K by the end of June. Active users fluctuated slightly, beginning at 1.7M and closing at around 1.69M.

Qibla Finder Compass 100% displayed a steady increase in revenue, hitting a peak of $5.7K in the last week of June. Downloads saw a significant rise from 14.3K in late March to 17.2K by the end of June. Active users also grew, reaching 37.6K in the final week of the quarter.

Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS had a notable peak in revenue at $12.9K in the last week of June. Downloads increased from 8.4K in late March to 17K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a consistent upward trend, reaching 53.1K in the final week.

Moovit: All Transit Options saw a significant increase in revenue, peaking at $3.3K in the last week of June. Downloads were relatively stable, starting at 9.3K in late March and ending at 9.7K in June. Active users remained strong, fluctuating around 190K throughout the quarter.
