Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps in France - Q2 2023

In the second quarter of 2023, the top five iOS navigation applications in France demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the trends observed for each app over the quarter.

Google Maps saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 53K at the end of March and peaking at around 107K in late April. The app maintained a strong presence with active users, growing from about 7.6M in late March to over 8.1M by the end of June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic also experienced an upward trend in downloads, beginning at 35K in late March and reaching around 52K by the end of June. Active users fluctuated but showed an overall increase from 3.6M to over 4.1M throughout the quarter.

Île-de-France Mobilités had a relatively stable download rate, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, peaking at roughly 19K in late June. Active user numbers were consistent, starting at 117K in late March and ending at approximately 135K by the end of June.

Bonjour RATP showed a steady rise in weekly downloads, from about 12K in late March to nearly 17K by the end of June. The app's active user base remained robust, growing from 181K to over 186K during the same period.

Moovit: All Transit Options displayed consistent download growth, starting at 9K in late March and peaking at around 15K in late June. Active users saw minor fluctuations but remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at about 167K.
