Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps in Estonia: Q2 2023 Performance

During the second quarter of 2023, Estonia's top five iOS navigation apps demonstrated diverse performance trends. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads and revenue for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 863 in late March and reaching 1.4K by the end of June. The app maintained a consistent performance without generating any revenue during this period.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic also showed an upward trend in downloads. Starting at 460 downloads at the end of March, the app reached 1.2K downloads by the last week of June. Like Google Maps, Waze did not generate any revenue in Q2 2023.

Moovit: All Transit Options exhibited a gradual increase in downloads, from 171 in late March to 305 by the end of June. The app’s weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at $37 in mid-June after a low of $4 in mid-April.

NaviCup experienced significant fluctuations in downloads. The app began with 42 downloads in late March, spiking to 642 in early May, and then stabilizing around 155 by the end of June. Similar to Google Maps and Waze, NaviCup did not generate any revenue during this period.

Geocaching® had a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 59 in late March and reaching a peak of 786 in early June before settling at 245 by the end of the quarter. The app’s weekly revenue showed variability, peaking at $154 in mid-June.
