In Q2 2023, the top 5 finance apps on iOS in Ghana showcased varied performance metrics. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Fido Solutions saw fluctuating download numbers throughout the quarter. The app experienced a peak of 4.5K downloads in the week of April 10, followed by a decline and then a slight resurgence to 3.5K in mid-June. By the end of June, downloads had tapered off to approximately 2.2K.

MTN MoMo maintained a consistent upward trend in both downloads and active users. Downloads increased from around 2.9K in late March to a high of 4.7K by mid-June. The app also saw a steady rise in active users, starting at 32.9K in late March and reaching a peak of 45.8K in mid-June.

NewLoan had an interesting download trajectory, starting with just 12 downloads in early May and then skyrocketing to 8.2K by the end of the month. However, this was followed by a decline, with the app ending the quarter with approximately 1.3K downloads.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto exhibited stable download numbers, ranging between 1.5K and 1.8K throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively steady, starting at 41.3K in late March and peaking at around 43K in late May, then stabilizing at 42.5K by the end of June.

Fidelity Bank Ghana experienced modest but consistent download figures, beginning with 1.4K in late March and maintaining a similar level throughout the quarter, peaking at 1.5K in early June and ending at 1.2K by the end of June.
