The second quarter of 2023 witnessed notable trends in the performance of the top finance apps on the iOS platform in Angola. Here's a closer look at the top five finance apps, as per Sensor Tower's data.

MULTICAIXA Express showed a consistent download pattern throughout the quarter. Starting with approximately 1.97K downloads at the end of March, the app saw a slight dip in April but rebounded in May, peaking at 2.31K downloads in the last week of the month. Active users steadily increased from around 23K at the end of March to nearly 25K by the end of June.

BAI Directo experienced a relatively stable download rate. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly but remained around the 1.8K mark. The highest downloads were recorded at the end of March with 1.95K, while the lowest were in the last week of June at 1.66K.

UNITEL Money saw a significant rise in downloads mid-quarter. Starting with around 933 downloads in the last week of March, the app peaked at 1.55K downloads in the week of May 22. The downloads then tapered off, ending the quarter with 781 downloads in the last week of June.

Wise (ex TransferWise) maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads hovered around the 450 mark, with minor fluctuations. The highest downloads were seen in the last week of June at 476. Active users showed a steady increase, starting at 2.41K in late March and reaching 2.82K by the end of June.

PayPal - Send, Shop, Manage exhibited varied download trends, starting at 326 in late March and peaking at 599 in mid-April. The app then experienced fluctuations, ending the quarter with 354 downloads in the last week of June. Active users increased from 1.33K in late March to a peak of 1.75K in mid-April, before stabilizing around 1.51K by the end of June.
