During the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 shopping apps on the Android platform in Australia exhibited varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of around 146K in the first week of May. However, downloads tapered off towards the end of the quarter, settling at approximately 55K by the last week of June. Active users mirrored this trend, starting from around 43K at the end of March and rising steadily to a peak of roughly 361K at the end of May, before slightly declining to about 312K by the end of June.

SHEIN-Shopping Online maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads ranging between 13K and 18K. Active users showed a gradual increase from approximately 261K at the end of March to around 329K in early June, before settling at around 310K by the end of the quarter.

Everyday Rewards experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at about 15K in early May. Active users remained robust, starting at around 385K at the end of March and reaching as high as approximately 420K in early June, before ending the quarter at around 406K.

Flybuys had a relatively steady download rate, with weekly downloads ranging between 7K and 10K. Active users remained consistent, fluctuating slightly but generally maintaining around 160K to 180K throughout the quarter.

Woolworths showed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 7K at the end of March and reaching up to about 10K by mid-June. Active users also saw a steady rise from approximately 117K at the end of March to around 129K by the end of June.
