Top 5 Insurance Apps on Android in South America: Q2 2023

The second quarter of 2023 has shown interesting trends for the top 5 insurance applications on the Android platform in South America. Here, we analyze their performance in terms of weekly downloads, active users, and revenue, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Porto: Seguros, Cartão virtual experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at around 23.7K in mid-April and dipping to approximately 15.8K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 403.7K in late March to 379.8K by the end of June.

Bradesco Seguros also saw variable download numbers, with a high of about 20.9K in late May and a low of roughly 14.4K in mid-April. Active users ranged from 137.5K at the start of Q2 to approximately 133.0K by the end of June.

Unimed Nacional demonstrated a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 16.5K in late May. Active users showed a similar upward trend, starting at 70.2K in late March and ending at approximately 80.7K in late June.

Bradesco Saúde saw a notable peak in downloads at about 16.7K in early May, with a subsequent decline to around 9.9K by the end of June. Active users reached a high of approximately 86.7K in early May but dropped to about 80.9K by the end of Q2.

Odontoprev had a peak in weekly downloads around early May with roughly 12.1K, while active users varied from 26.2K in late March to approximately 30.7K by the end of June.
