In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 finance apps on the Android platform in Spain showcased significant trends in downloads and active users, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

Google Wallet demonstrated a consistent performance in weekly downloads, starting at around 27K in late March and fluctuating slightly before peaking at 29.2K in early June. Active users showed a minor decline from approximately 357K to 344K by the end of June.

Waylet. Pagos con el móvil maintained a steady download rate, beginning at 22.3K and reaching its highest point at 28.3K in early June. Active user numbers started at around 302K and saw a slight decrease to 293K by the end of the quarter.

BBVA Spain | Online Banking experienced a notable rise in weekly downloads, starting from 20.2K in late March and peaking at nearly 30K by early June. The app also saw an increase in active users, growing from approximately 2.24M to 2.38M by the end of June.
