In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 education applications on the Android platform in Egypt showed notable performance trends. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, active users, and revenue for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Duolingo: Language Lessons experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $818 by the end of June. Weekly downloads showed an upward trend mid-quarter, reaching around 52K in the week of May 29, while weekly active users saw a significant increase from 129K in late March to approximately 166K by the end of June.

Nagwa Exams saw its weekly downloads peak at about 78K in the first week of May, followed by a decline to around 15K by the end of June. The app maintained a strong user base with weekly active users fluctuating around 250K by the end of the quarter.

Abwaab had a peak in weekly downloads of around 71K in early May, but downloads decreased to about 6K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users followed a similar trend, peaking at approximately 274K in early May and decreasing to around 168K by the end of June.

Quran- Mushaf Makkah مصحـف مكة started the quarter strong with about 97K downloads in late March, but downloads dropped to around 17K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users showed a similar trend, peaking at approximately 94K in late March and ending the quarter at around 42K.

Scientific calculator plus 991 saw its weekly downloads peak at about 37K in early May, but this number gradually declined to around 5K by the end of June. The app maintained a high level of weekly active users, starting at approximately 720K in late March and ending the quarter at around 460K.
