In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 apparel applications on the Android platform in Germany demonstrated varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for each app, according to data from Sensor Tower.

SHEIN-Shopping Online saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 48.7K at the end of March and peaking at 128K in mid-June before dipping to 85.3K by the end of the quarter. The app also experienced a steady rise in weekly active users, starting at 609K and reaching approximately 845K by the end of June.

Trendyol - Online Alışveriş had fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at 24.3K and reaching a peak of 33.5K in early May, before stabilizing around 27.8K by the end of June. The app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, hovering around 130K to 140K throughout the quarter.

Zalando – online fashion store displayed a consistent upward trend in weekly downloads, beginning at 22.9K and peaking at 34.4K in mid-June before slightly declining to 29.9K. Weekly active users for the app remained fairly stable, with minor fluctuations, starting at 494K and ending the quarter at approximately 458K.

LightInTheBox Online Shopping experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at 21.9K and dropping to 14.2K by the end of June. Weekly active users also showed a slight downward trend, decreasing from around 91.4K to approximately 82.8K over the same period.

C&A Fashion Online Shop saw its weekly downloads fluctuate significantly, starting at 19K and peaking at 24.2K in late May before falling to 9.9K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 64.8K, peaking at 72.3K in late May, and decreasing to 55.4K by the end of the quarter.
