In the first quarter of 2023, the top five utilities applications in Uruguay demonstrated notable trends in downloads and active users, as revealed by Sensor Tower data. Here’s a closer look at the performance of Google, Google Chrome, Sticker Maker Studio, STM Montevideo, and Mi Movistar Uruguay.

Google saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at 2.1K in late December and peaking at 3.9K in mid-March. Meanwhile, weekly active users fluctuated around 1.2M, ending the quarter with a slight increase to approximately 1.23M.

Google Chrome experienced steady weekly downloads, maintaining around 1.6K to 1.9K, with a peak of 1.9K in the last week of March. Weekly active users hovered around 1.5M, with a minor peak of 1.53M in mid-March before settling back to 1.5M.

Sticker Maker Studio showed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at 802 and reaching approximately 1.1K by the end of March. Active users also saw a gradual rise, from 6.9K in late December to 7.4K by the end of the quarter.

STM Montevideo had a notable spike in weekly downloads, starting at 567 and peaking at 1.2K in early March, before stabilizing around 770 in the final week of the quarter.

Mi Movistar Uruguay exhibited significant download activity, with weekly downloads peaking at 5.6K in early February. Active users also increased steadily, starting at 13.1K in late December and reaching 16.4K by mid-March.
