Top 5 Utilities Apps Performance in Peru Q1 2023

In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 utilities applications in Peru demonstrated diverse performance trends across downloads and active users. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides an overview of these trends.

Yape displayed a fluctuating download pattern. Weekly downloads peaked at approximately 252K in the first week of January but saw a decline to around 85K by mid-March, before rising again to about 113K by the end of March. The app maintained a strong presence in terms of active users, starting the quarter with roughly 3M users and ending with nearly 3M active users.

Google Chrome had more stable download numbers throughout the quarter, ranging between 7.4K to 10K weekly downloads. Active users remained consistent, starting and ending the quarter with approximately 15.7M and 15.9M users respectively.

Google also showed steady download figures, with weekly downloads ranging from 6.1K to 7.5K. Active users saw slight fluctuations but remained around the 10.7M to 11M mark throughout the quarter.

Mi Claro Perú experienced a notable increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, with weekly downloads rising from around 35K in early March to approximately 65K by the end of March. The app's active users also saw growth, starting at about 679K and reaching around 727K by the end of the quarter.

Agora: Ahorra y disfruta had a more varied download trend, peaking at nearly 50K downloads in late December and then stabilizing around 38K to 42K for most of the quarter. Active users remained relatively steady, fluctuating between 220K and 240K.
