Top 5 Utilities Apps on Unified Platform in Egypt Q1 2023

Throughout the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 utilities applications in Egypt demonstrated notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides valuable insights into the performance of these apps on a unified platform.

Google maintained a consistent weekly download rate, starting at 20.6K at the end of December 2022 and peaking at 22.7K in mid-January. By the end of March, downloads had decreased to approximately 16.5K. Active users remained stable, ranging from 31.4M to 31.8M throughout the quarter.

Google Chrome experienced steady weekly downloads, beginning at 14.2K and reaching a high of 17K in early February. The quarter ended with 13.4K downloads. Active users hovered around 37.3M to 37.5M, showing minimal fluctuation.

Truecaller: Caller ID Blocker saw a decline in weekly downloads from 281.3K at the end of December 2022 to 128.9K by the end of March 2023. Despite this, weekly revenue showed an upward trend, starting at $6.3K and peaking at $7.4K in mid-March. Active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 18.4M to 18.7M.
