In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 travel apps in South America demonstrated varying performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared according to Sensor Tower data.

My Disney Experience from Disney saw a gradual decline in both weekly downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads started at around 9.4K in early January and dropped to approximately 6.2K by the end of March. Revenue followed a similar downward trend, peaking at $21K in mid-January and decreasing to about $7.1K by the end of March. Active users also saw a decline, from 10.1K in early January to about 8.1K at the end of the quarter.

Planes Live - Flight Tracker by Easy Tiger Apps, LLC. maintained stable weekly revenue, fluctuating around $8.5K to $8.9K throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads, however, declined from 7.6K at the end of December to about 4.7K by late March. Active users also saw a decrease, starting at 20.1K in late December and falling to around 15.7K by the end of March.

Revenue remained consistent, hovering around $1.2K to $1.6K throughout the quarter. Active users showed minor fluctuations, starting at 19.5K and ending at about 19K.

Couchsurfing Travel App from CouchSurfing International Inc. experienced an interesting trend with a significant increase in weekly downloads and active users in March. Downloads surged from around 2.1K in early March to 5K by the end of the month. Revenue also saw a slight increase, peaking at $1.5K in late March. Active users increased notably from about 4.2K in early March to 7.3K by the end of the month.
