During the first quarter of 2023, the top five travel apps in Australia exhibited notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users on a unified platform. This analysis delves into the performance of Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker, WikiCamps Australia, Planes Live - Flight Tracker, TripView, and Camps Australia Wide. These insights are derived from Sensor Tower data.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $11.7K in the week of March 20. Weekly downloads started strong at around 13K but showed a general decline, stabilizing at around 9.6K by the end of March. The app’s weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at around 41.2K in mid-January and settling at approximately 39.2K by the end of the quarter.

WikiCamps Australia experienced a significant drop in weekly revenue from $12.4K at the end of December to $5.7K by the last week of March. Weekly downloads followed a similar trend, starting at 3.5K and decreasing to around 2.5K. However, weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 5.3K throughout the quarter.
