In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 shopping apps in Poland demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue. This analysis, powered by Sensor Tower data, provides insights into the trends observed across these leading applications.

Biedronka saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 87K at the end of December 2022 and peaking at approximately 190K in early February. The app maintained a strong presence with weekly active users rising from 514K to nearly 796K by the end of March.

Vinted: Sell vintage clothes experienced a consistent growth in weekly downloads, moving from about 50K at the end of December to a peak of 101K in late January. Weekly active users also increased steadily, starting at 358K and reaching 443K by the end of the quarter.

SHEIN - Shopping Online had fluctuating weekly downloads, with a high of roughly 92K in early January and a low of 55K in mid-February. However, its weekly active users demonstrated a more consistent upward trend, rising from 537K at the end of December to over 780K by the end of March.

Kaufland: Supermarket Offers showed a dramatic increase in weekly downloads, particularly in late February when downloads surged to approximately 164K. This was mirrored in its weekly active users, which jumped from around 64K at the end of December to over 307K by the end of March.

Allegro maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 40K and 57K. Its weekly active users remained robust, starting at 2.1M and peaking at 2.3M in early January, before stabilizing around 2.2M by the end of March.
