In Q1 2023, the top 5 navigation apps in Ghana exhibited diverse performance trends across downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a relatively stable download rate, starting the quarter with approximately 5K weekly downloads and closing with around 4.4K. Active users fluctuated slightly, peaking at 156.7K in late January and experiencing a minor decline to about 145K by the end of March.

Spoten Phone Location Tracker saw its weekly downloads peak at 2K in late January but dropped to 727 by the end of March. Active users showed a similar trend, starting strong at 2.5K in early February and dwindling to 973 by the quarter's end. The app's weekly revenue varied, peaking at $105 in early February and finishing at $76 in the last week of March.

GhanaPostGPS experienced consistent download numbers, maintaining around 1.1K weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Active users remained stable, hovering around 16.8K to 17K.

The Bolt Driver App saw a decline in weekly downloads from 5.5K in early January to 1.6K by late March. Despite this, active users showed resilience, starting at 72.9K and ending at 61.8K.

GPS Live Navigation had modest download numbers, ranging between 270 and 398 weekly downloads. Active users gradually increased from 2.2K in late December to 2.6K by the end of March.
