Top 5 MOBA Apps in Romania: Q1 2023 Performance

The first quarter of 2023 has shown interesting trends for the top 5 MOBA applications in Romania. Based on Sensor Tower data, we present an overview of their performance across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Brawl Stars from Supercell saw a significant decline in weekly revenue, starting at $28.3K in late December and dropping to about $5.5K by the end of March. Downloads also decreased from 16.6K to 5.4K over the same period. Active users followed a similar downward trend, falling from 910K to approximately 553K.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by Moonton maintained a more stable revenue stream, with figures hovering around $19K to $21K for most of the quarter, peaking at $23.2K at the end of January. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 4.2K in mid-February, before settling at around 1.5K by the end of March. Active users varied slightly but remained steady overall, averaging around 44K to 52K.

League of Legends: Wild Rift from Riot Games saw a notable peak in weekly revenue in early January at $13.3K, before stabilizing around $4K to $7K for the rest of the quarter. Downloads showed a consistent but low trend, starting at 2.1K and ending at 1.2K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 23K and 28K.

Pokémon UNITE by The Pokémon Company had modest weekly revenue, peaking at $165 in late February. Downloads varied, with a high of 937 in early March and a low of 91 in early January. The active user base saw a slight increase from 4.8K in late December to 5.8K by early March, before dropping to around 4.1K at the end of the quarter.

Box Simulator for Brawl Stars from DEHA had no reported revenue. Downloads remained low throughout the quarter, ranging from 428 in late December to 218 by the end of March. Active users showed a gradual decline from 1.3K to 815 over the same period.
