In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 MOBA applications in Africa showcased diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the data provided by Sensor Tower:

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang from Shanghai Moonton Technology Co., Ltd. saw weekly revenue fluctuate throughout the quarter, peaking at around $11.7K in the week of March 20. Weekly downloads remained relatively steady, averaging around 12K to 14K, with a slight increase to 14.2K in mid-January. Active users experienced a peak of approximately 422K in late January, with a general trend of maintaining over 350K users weekly.

Brawl Stars by Supercell experienced a noticeable decline in weekly revenue, starting from $16.5K at the beginning of the quarter and dropping to around $2.4K by the end of March.
