In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 lifestyle applications in the United States showed varied performance trends across downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared:

Pinterest saw a slight decline in weekly downloads, beginning at 417K in late December and dropping to around 317K by the end of March. Despite this, the app maintained a robust user base with weekly active users fluctuating around the 45M mark, peaking at 46.1M in mid-January.

Amazon Alexa experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads, starting from 623K at the end of December and falling to approximately 150K by the end of March. Weekly active users also saw a decrease, from 5.9M in late December to about 5M at the end of the quarter.

Ring - Always Home showed a downward trend in weekly downloads, from 366K at the start of the quarter to around 157K by the end of March. The weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 7.5M mark throughout the quarter.

Google Home had a consistent decline in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads dropped from 304K at the end of December to approximately 145K by late March. Similarly, weekly active users decreased from 3.3M to around 2.9M during the same period.

Zillow Real Estate & Rentals experienced a steady performance in weekly downloads, starting at 168K at the end of December and ending at around 188K by the end of March. The app's active users fluctuated slightly, maintaining an average of around 5.5M throughout the quarter.
