Top 5 Lifestyle Apps Performance in Austria, Q1 2023

In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 lifestyle apps on the unified platform in Austria demonstrated varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

First up, Pinterest saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at 9.5K in late December and decreasing to around 6.3K by the end of March. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 1.2M and 1.26M throughout the quarter.

Amazon Alexa experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads, from 10.2K in the last week of December to just over 3K by the end of March. Weekly active users also declined, starting from 75K and settling at around 61K by the end of the quarter.

The Fressnapf App showed a more dynamic trend in weekly downloads, starting at 4.7K and peaking at 9.7K in mid-February. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, increasing from 50K at the end of December to approximately 65K by the end of March.

ImmoScout24 - Austria had a peak in weekly downloads at the beginning of January with around 4.7K, but this decreased to about 1.8K by the end of March. Despite this, weekly active users remained fairly consistent, fluctuating between 16K and 23K over the quarter.

Lastly, the newly released Westfield - shopping app demonstrated strong initial growth. Weekly downloads started at 19.6K in mid-March and settled at around 10.2K by the end of the month. Weekly active users also showed a positive trend, increasing from 14.7K to 17.9K within the same period.
