The first quarter of 2023 saw varied performance trends for the top five insurance apps in Egypt on a unified platform. Data provided by Sensor Tower reveals insights into their weekly downloads and active users.

GlobeMed Fit had a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting with 2.5K at the end of December and peaking at 3.5K in the first week of January. By late March, downloads had decreased to 1.6K. Weekly active users for the app saw a dip from 6.4K in early January to 4.5K by the end of March.

Lumi by Nextcare experienced an upward trend in downloads mid-quarter. Weekly downloads increased from 1.5K at the end of December to a peak of 2.4K in late February before dropping to 1.2K in the last week of March. Active users also saw growth, rising from 6.4K in late December to 8.2K by the end of February, then settling to 6.9K by the end of March.

MetLife eServices (Egypt) showed a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting at 1K in late December and reaching 2.1K by the end of March.

MyAXA Egypt maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 1.5K and 1.7K. The highest number of downloads was 1.9K in the third week of February, eventually decreasing to 1.2K by the last week of March.

Al-Ahly Medical Program saw a notable spike in weekly downloads after its release in early February. Downloads surged to 6.3K in the second week of February but then declined steadily to 324 by the end of March.
