In the first quarter of 2023, the top five apparel apps in the Dominican Republic demonstrated notable performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. According to Sensor Tower data, these applications experienced varying degrees of growth and engagement.

SHEIN - Shopping Online saw a remarkable increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 31K in late December 2022 and peaking at around 57.8K by the end of March 2023. Weekly active users also showed a consistent upward trend, beginning at 663K and reaching a high of 854K mid-March, before slightly dipping to 821K at the end of the quarter.

ZARA had a steadier performance, with weekly downloads gradually rising from 1.8K to 2.3K over the quarter. Active users for ZARA also increased from 10.6K at the end of December to about 12.3K by mid-March, maintaining a stable user base.
