In Q1 2023, the travel app landscape in Lebanon saw varying trends in weekly downloads, active users, and revenue among the top five iOS applications. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Kazderni had a notable spike in weekly downloads at the beginning of January, reaching 6.9K during the first week. However, the downloads dropped significantly in the following weeks, stabilizing around the 600-1.4K range. Despite this fluctuation in downloads, the app maintained zero revenue throughout the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced relatively steady weekly downloads, ranging from 481 to 859. The number of active users showed a gradual decline from 4.2K at the end of December to 3.4K by the end of March. Similar to Kazderni, Bolt reported no revenue during this period.

Uber - Request a ride saw a consistent but slight decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 602 in late December and ending at 256 by the last week of March. The active users followed a downward trend as well, decreasing from 24.9K to 21.1K over the quarter. Revenue for Uber remained at zero throughout Q1 2023.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel showed a stable trend in weekly downloads, averaging around 300-450. The number of active users remained relatively stable as well, fluctuating between 8.2K and 9.4K. Similar to the other apps, Booking.com reported no revenue in Q1 2023.
