Top 5 Travel Apps on iOS in Kuwait for Q1 2023

Throughout the first quarter of 2023, Kuwait's top five travel applications on the iOS platform demonstrated significant performance trends in downloads and active user metrics. Below, we provide a closer look at these trends based on Sensor Tower data.

Jazeera Airways experienced a steady decrease in weekly downloads, beginning with around 1.4K in early January and dropping to 676 by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 6.4K to approximately 6.2K over the same period.

Kuwait Airways had an initial spike in downloads, reaching 4.1K in the last week of January, but subsequently saw a decline to 826 by the end of March. Active users mirrored this pattern, peaking at 5.9K in late January and then stabilizing around 3.5K towards the end of the quarter.

Careem – rides, food & more maintained a relatively stable download rate, with weekly numbers fluctuating between 1K to 1.5K. Active users remained consistent throughout the quarter, averaging around 20K with minor variations.

Wego Flights & Hotels Booking showed a slight decline in weekly downloads, starting from 1.3K in January and ending at 1.2K in late March. However, active users demonstrated resilience, maintaining an average of around 10K, with a slight increase to 10.9K in the last week of March.
