Top 5 iOS Shopping Apps in Egypt Q1 2023

Throughout the first quarter of 2023, the top five iOS shopping apps in Egypt showed varying trends in weekly downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive overview of their performance.

Amazon Shopping experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 8.3K and peaking at approximately 14K in mid-March. Active users also saw a rise, growing from 200K at the beginning of the quarter to a high of nearly 240K in the week of March 13.

noon Shopping, Food, Grocery demonstrated a more fluctuating pattern. Weekly downloads ranged from 5.2K to 9K, with a noticeable peak in mid-February and mid-March. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly but generally hovering around the 80K mark.

Alibaba.com saw consistent growth in weekly downloads, beginning the year at 6.2K and peaking at 9K in early January and late March. Active users steadily increased throughout the quarter, rising from 28K to over 41K by mid-March.

MAF Carrefour Online Shopping had a notable spike in downloads at the start of the year, reaching 19K in the first week of January before stabilizing to an average of around 4K. Active users followed a similar trend, starting high at 25K and then maintaining a steady range between 16K and 18K.
