In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 news applications on the iOS platform in Peru exhibited diverse performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. This data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers an insightful look into the app market dynamics.

X from X Corp. saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.2K in the last week of March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 4K in late December and reaching 8.8K in the first week of January before stabilizing around 3.5K to 5.5K for the rest of the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 305K at the end of December to 325K by the end of March.

Reddit experienced modest weekly revenue, with a peak of $24 in the third week of March. Weekly downloads varied, starting at approximately 800 and peaking at 1.1K in early January, then fluctuating between 600 and 1K for the remainder of the quarter. Active users showed a stable trend, maintaining around 14K throughout the quarter.
