The first quarter of 2023 saw notable performances from the top 5 lifestyle apps on iOS in Mexico. Here's a closer look at their trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, based on Sensor Tower data.

NGL: ask me anything saw a significant surge in weekly downloads at the start of the year, peaking at 234K in the first week of January. Downloads then fluctuated, stabilizing around 26-31K towards the end of the quarter. Weekly revenue for the app peaked at about $10K in early January and remained relatively steady between $5.7K and $8.1K for the rest of the period. Active users showed an initial spike to 280K in early January, followed by a decline and subsequent stabilization around 170-190K.

Pinterest maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads ranging from 46K to 64K. Active users remained strong, averaging around 3.6M, with a peak of nearly 3.7M in early January. The app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Amazon Alexa experienced a gradual decline in downloads from 76K in late December to around 22K by the end of March. Active users also saw a slight drop from 360K to approximately 304K over the quarter. Similar to Pinterest, Amazon Alexa did not record any revenue during this time.
