The first quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends for the top finance apps on iOS in Costa Rica. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading apps, as per Sensor Tower data.

BN Móvil from Banco Nacional de Costa Rica had steady weekly downloads, ranging from 1.3K to 1.7K throughout the quarter. The highest downloads were recorded in the week of March 27, reaching approximately 1.7K.

Banca Móvil BAC from Bac Credomatic Network maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at around 1.5K in the week of January 30. The app also saw a steady increase in weekly active users, starting at 39.9K in late December and rising to 42.6K by the end of March.

BCR Móvil from Banco de Costa Rica experienced a slight fluctuation in weekly downloads, with numbers ranging between 1.2K and 1.6K. The highest downloads occurred in mid-March, reaching about 1.6K. Weekly active users showed a gradual increase from 24.8K to 26.2K over the quarter.

Clave Virtual, also from Banco de Costa Rica, had notable spikes in downloads, particularly in the week of January 23, with approximately 3.4K downloads. The rest of the quarter saw downloads between 900 and 1.2K.

PayPal - Pay, Send, Save from PayPal, Inc. had a relatively stable download rate, hovering around 700 weekly downloads. Active users also remained consistent, ranging from 3.2K to 3.5K throughout the quarter.
