During Q1 2023, the top education apps on iOS in Sweden showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared:

Duolingo - Language Lessons started the quarter with weekly revenue at around $66K and experienced a notable decline, reaching its lowest at $32K in early February. However, it rebounded to approximately $45K by the end of March. Weekly downloads peaked at 7.1K early in January but gradually decreased, settling around 4.4K by the end of the quarter. The app maintained a strong user base, with active users increasing from 65.4K to 78.1K.

Kahoot! Play & Create Quizzes saw fluctuating weekly revenue, starting at $3.4K and dipping to $1.3K in early January before stabilizing around $2.5K by the end of March. Weekly downloads began at 7.9K but dropped significantly to around 2.7K, with minor increases in March. Active users also decreased initially from 32.6K to 16.2K but showed recovery, reaching 19.4K by the end of the quarter.

Toca Boca World showed a varied revenue trend, starting at $26.9K, peaking at $38.3K in early January, and then fluctuating between $17.2K and $28.4K. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 2.7K weekly, with a slight peak at 3.3K in mid-February. Active users showed a consistent range, fluctuating between 25K and 28.5K throughout the quarter.

Google Classroom did not generate revenue but saw significant activity. Weekly downloads increased from 651 to 3.2K in early January before stabilizing around 2K. Active users surged from 237K to 482K in early January and maintained around 470K to 490K for the remainder of the quarter.
