In Q1 2023, the top 5 shopping apps on the Android platform in Turkey showed varying trends in downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Trendyol - Online Alışveriş saw its weekly downloads fluctuate throughout the quarter. Starting from 169K at the end of December, downloads dipped to around 102K in early February before peaking at 301K in mid-March. Weekly active users remained robust, ranging from 15.6M to 18.6M, with a notable increase in March.

A101 Plus experienced a decline in both downloads and active users over the quarter. Weekly downloads started strong at 261K but gradually decreased to 58K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 879K and dropping to 676K.

AliExpress showed significant growth in downloads, particularly in March. Downloads surged from 48K at the end of December to 332K by the third week of March. Active users also increased, starting at 1.45M and reaching over 2.1M by the end of the quarter.

Hepsiburada: Online Shopping had steady download numbers with minor fluctuations. Downloads ranged from 42K to 138K, with a peak in mid-March. Active users showed a dip in early February but recovered to approximately 7.4M by the end of March.

Çiçeksepeti: Online Alışveriş had a varied performance in downloads, starting at 153K and dropping to 44K in late February before recovering to 88K by the end of March. Active users showed a decline from 885K to 504K in early February but later stabilized around 619K by the end of the quarter.
