The first quarter of 2023 saw varied performance among the top five insurance apps on the Android platform in Oman. Here’s a detailed look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends based on data from Sensor Tower.

Bima Insurance experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting with around 414 in late December and witnessing a peak of approximately 681 in both the weeks of February 20 and March 27.

Policybazaar - Compare & Buy saw a significant spike in downloads in the week of January 23, reaching around 474. The app's active users followed a similar trend, peaking at about 519 in the same week. Throughout the quarter, the app maintained a steady number of active users, culminating at around 450 by the end of March.

NLG Insurance had a moderate but steady download rate. The app started with approximately 274 downloads in the last week of December and saw a slight dip throughout the quarter, ending with around 170 downloads in the final week of March.

Manafith | منافذ showed a dramatic decline in downloads after a strong start. The app had its highest downloads at about 465 in the first week of January but dropped to almost negligible numbers by mid-February.

Oman United Insurance maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter, starting at around 61 and peaking at about 136 in the last week of March.
