Top 5 Insurance Apps on Android in Mexico, Q1 2023

In Q1 2023, the performance of the top 5 insurance apps in Mexico on the Android platform showcased interesting trends in downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Afore SURA experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 19.4K at the end of December to a peak of approximately 42.4K in mid-February. Weekly active users also saw growth, rising from about 93.7K to over 134K by the end of March.

Soy Cliente GNP had a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with 5.3K and ending with 8.2K. Active users showed a gradual increase, starting from around 16.2K and reaching 19.1K towards the end of March.

Rastreator : Seguros Auto&Moto saw a varied trend in weekly downloads, starting at 3.6K in late December and peaking at 4.5K by the end of February. Weekly active users fluctuated but generally maintained around 35K to 40K throughout the quarter.

QMóvil exhibited a steady download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 2.4K to 2.8K. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 8.9K to 9.2K during the quarter.

BBVA SOS - Asistencia de Auto had a modest increase in weekly downloads, starting at 1.9K and peaking at 3.9K in late January. Active users showed a slight upward trend, increasing from around 12.2K to 13.9K by the end of March.
