Top 5 Insurance Apps on Android in the UK: Q1 2023

During the first quarter of 2023, the top insurance apps on the Android platform in the United Kingdom showed various trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance:

Hastings Direct Insurance saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 5.5K at the end of December and reaching a peak of approximately 10.5K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, growing from 15.2K to over 20.5K by the end of the quarter.

MyAviva began the quarter with around 3.4K weekly downloads, peaking at 6.1K in the first week of January, and then fluctuating around 4K to 5.5K for the rest of the quarter. Active users increased from approximately 9K to over 11.4K by mid-March, ending the quarter at around 10.4K.

Admiral Insurance maintained a steady download rate, starting from around 2.7K and reaching up to 4.8K by the end of February. Active users showed consistent growth, starting at 26.6K and peaking at over 30.7K by mid-February, before stabilizing around 27.8K by the end of March.

Zego Delivery experienced a relatively stable download rate, starting from 1.4K and peaking at 2.1K in early January. The downloads then saw a slight decline towards the end of the quarter, ending at around 1.2K.

Cuvva showed an increase in downloads, starting at 1.6K and peaking at around 2.5K by the end of January, before fluctuating around 1.2K to 2.2K for the rest of the quarter. Active users increased from approximately 4.2K to over 4.6K by the end of March.
