In Q1 2023, the top finance apps on the Android platform in Oceania demonstrated diverse performance trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's an overview of how these apps fared in terms of downloads and active users.

Google Wallet saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at 32K in mid-January and maintaining a range between 21K to 29K throughout the quarter. Active users for the app were relatively stable, starting at 201K and ending at 223K, with a noticeable peak of 235K in late February.

PayPal - Send, Shop, Manage experienced a decline in weekly downloads from 14K in early January to around 9K by the end of March. Despite this, the app maintained a strong user base, with active users fluctuating between 470K to 500K, peaking at 502K in early January.

CommBank showed consistent weekly downloads, averaging around 9K to 11K throughout the quarter. Active users witnessed a steady increase from 1.6M to 1.7M, indicating a solid user engagement.

The Ubank Money App had a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting at 5K in late December and reaching up to 12K by early March. Active users also grew from 53K to 72K, showcasing a growing adoption of the app.

Wise had varied weekly downloads, peaking at 10K in mid-February and dropping to 5K by the end of March. Active users increased from 18K to 26K by the end of February, maintaining around 22K to 23K towards the end of the quarter.
