In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 travel applications in Uruguay showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at the data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from nearly 2K in late September and reaching approximately 4.2K by the end of December. Weekly active users for Uber also showed a positive trend, growing from around 102K to a peak of nearly 114K in mid-December, before slightly dropping to 98.6K in the final week of December.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, with numbers rising from 1.8K in early October to about 3.3K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users also saw an upward trend, starting at approximately 38.4K and reaching around 45.4K by the end of the quarter.

Airbnb had fluctuating download numbers, starting at 4K in late September, dipping to around 2.5K in mid-November, and then stabilizing around 3.3K by the end of December. The active users for Airbnb showed a similar pattern, starting at about 28.9K, with slight fluctuations, and ending the quarter at around 30.8K.

Cabify displayed a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from 1.8K in late September and peaking at 4.5K in mid-October, before fluctuating and ending the quarter at around 2K. Active users for Cabify followed a similar trend, starting at 36.6K, peaking at approximately 49.8K in mid-November, and finishing at around 39K.

Finally, Voy en Taxi had more modest download numbers, beginning at 542 in late September and peaking at 1.7K in early December, before concluding the quarter at around 1.1K. Unfortunately, active user data for Voy en Taxi was not available.
