In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top travel applications in Australia demonstrated notable trends in downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of Uber - Request a ride, Booking.com: Hotels & Travel, DiDi Rider: Affordable rides, Neuron E-scooters and E-bikes, and EasyPark - Parking made easy.

Uber - Request a ride saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, beginning at approximately 30.7K in late September and peaking at 40.8K in mid-December. Weekly active users for the app ranged from around 770K to 890K, indicating a consistent user base throughout the quarter.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced stable weekly downloads, starting at 23.7K and reaching a high of 28.2K by the end of December. Active users showed a slight decline from 485.7K at the start of the quarter to 459.9K in mid-December, before surging to 551.9K in the final week.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides had a steady download rate, with figures ranging from 18K to 26.4K. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 374.1K in mid-December, but ending the quarter with around 299.5K users.

Neuron E-scooters and E-bikes demonstrated variable weekly downloads, starting at 24.4K and reaching a December peak of 34.2K. Active users followed a similar trend, beginning at 45.8K in late September, and growing to 55.9K by the end of December.

EasyPark - Parking made easy showed consistent download figures, from 20.2K at the start of the quarter to 18.7K at the end. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 45.2K and closing the quarter at 44.9K.
